Pekka’s career has been focusing on his two passions: innovations and wellbeing. At the moment Pekka is a mentor and business development director at Hintsa Performance. At Hintsa Pekka is in charge of the global accounts building the international growth. He also mentors Hintsa’s executive clients about the core: identity, purpose, and control. Pekka has an M.Sc. from Helsinki University of Technology and lately he has studied positive psychology and logotherapy to support his work as a mentor.
2011 Pekka founded 925 Design, a design agency for better working life. Now 925 Design is a part of Hintsa Performance. As a result of a Finland wide study Pekka co-authored a book ’Workbook’ finding practical solutions for higher productivity and higher energy. Another building block for 925 Design was developing creativity and experimentation in companies. Before 925 Design Pekka had a 19 year executive career at Nokia focusing on new business like text messaging, music, service marketing, and developer community. In his last position Pekka was the Vice President of Concepting and innovation developing Nokia’s innovation process. Pekka is an active investor and advisor in several music and media startups. Pekka is a sought after keynote speaker and was a nominee for ’Speaker of the year’ by Finland’s largest speaker agency Speakersforum. Pekka gives annually 30-40 high profile keynotes and is constantly getting excellent feedback of his presentation.
